I love doing projects with my sis. We are total opposites but when we collaborate we are of one mind in a yin-yang kinda way, and it’s pretty cool. She decided she wanted to redo her living room because her seating was minimal and impractical, and she was feeling tired of it. Also, West Elm was having a furniture sale so need I say more?
She sold everything in the room except the vanity, credenza, and the larger rug she layered underneath her new rug. She wanted to achieve a kind of modern bohemian feel and I think we accomplished it pretty nicely, but I will let you be the judge.
Using the vanity for a little plant hub ended up being one of my favorite parts of the room. I love this vanity for so many reasons. Firstly it is gorgeous and has a lot of character. Secondly it has a huge mirror which really opens up that corner of the room, and lastly because it is such an unusual piece for a living room it really becomes a great statement piece.
I made these custom hanging planters for my sis and I think they turned out pretty stinking cute. If you are looking for something like this for your space, check out the planters I have available on the shop page, or message me if you are wanting something a little more custom.
The large prints above the couch are also Sage Fox and you can find them in our Shop.
